You said that you had 2 libraries, one on each. I suggested combining them
into one.
I assumed that the 2 libraries would have at least some songs in common so
you would have duplicates once you combined them. You can see these using
iTunes > View > Show Duplicates.
Note that it lists titles that appear more than once, not necessarily true
duplicates, so be careful before you delete them!
