I have an iTrip that I use with my 3rd gen iPod.
Have you tried looking on eBay?

Griffin made an iTrip that worked with the first and second generation (original) iPods.

I've been searching for one for ages, but haven't turned one up new, used or even broken.

Could someone out there lend me hand?
