the following:
• .5" margin all the way around
• text set to 9 pt helvetica
• left header - name of event
• right header - date
• left footer - company disclaimer
• right footer - page number
these should be good settings for you to get started and then you can
tweak to your heart's content. the really convenient thing (for me,
at least) is that you can save multiple settings that you create
right in acrobat. so, in my situation, i have multiple levels of
training, so i have an acrobat header/footer setting for each level.
for those of you with acrobat 8, i've attached the setting xml file.
these files are typically stored in the following location on your
machine:
user home directory/library/preferences/acrobat/8.0_ppc (or the
version you have)/headerfooter
