[Apple iPod] Half My Songs Not Found After I-Tunes Update

Hi All,
I-Tunes sent a update message alert, updating to 7.7.1.11, so I
updated. Now half the songs in the I-Tunes library are showing an (!)
next to them, not allowing I-tune to play the songs, "song not found"
message appears. Is there a way to correct this problem without
reloading 3.0 gigs worth of songs from the CD's?

I'm using a 30 gig with firmware version 1.2.1.
