fixes, but before I do anything, I'd like to run this by you all and
see if I'm on the right track.
When I set up my new PC (with XP), I loaded all my data and music
files before connecting to the internet. Once connected, I downloaded
I-Tunes, and it set up the library but now every song is listed
twice. Following suggestions from messages in this group, I added the
date column and then sorted by date. When I click on the record with
the oldest date, it can't be found, but all the new dates are found.
My plan, and please tell me if I'm off base, is to sort by date and
then delete all the older dates. That should just leave me with a
single iteration of each title. If it doesn't work, I can just delete
the whole thing and reload from my external drive.
Any other suggestions or ideas appreciated.
Thanks,
KathyB
