It worked GREAT. I was confused because
I did not think I was supposed to export it
as MANUAL ADVANCE, since I did not want
to advance each slide myself.
In your email you stated:
I've normally saved as 'manual' and it allows
the timings to do their thing, and you only
need to start it manually, but after that all
the build timings run as they were when you
created it - sounds odd but it works.
So - choose Manual Advance/Include Audio -
output as a high resolution Quicktime, then
double click the file to launch and click the
space bar to make it run and it 'should' then
do the auto builds and transitions as you created
them. The 'manual' advance is it seems simply a
default to make it do it on autopilot. Give it a go
and see what happens and if you have a problem
ping me and let me know. And if it works let me
know too!
So, John, it worked like a champ. I was able
to save the QuickTime file (yes, it was big) to
a CDROM that I gave to my Windows using friend.
He copied it onto his Windows laptop and played
it with the Windows version of QuickTime with a
projector at his daughter's wedding rehearsal
dinner. Worked like a champ!
Thanks again, John. It's great to have a resource
like this Yahoo Group where people help each
other.
