minimum OS and you need iTunes 7.4. If it is an older shuffle, see if you can upgrade
iTunes to 4.7.1. I had trouble getting my nano to function when I first bought it since I
had no idea it would not run with Panther (10.3.9) and it was very frustrating! Fortunately I
found a fairly painless (and cheap) upgrade to Tiger, or else the nano would have gone
back to the store. :-(
