[Apple iPod] Migration from XP to Vista laptop

I tried but found nothing that tells me how to solve my problem.
Like many I suspect, I bought a new laptop with Windows vista
installed. My old computer used XP Pro and had its' hard drive
partitioned into 4 logical drives where drive F was Music. On Music I
had/have( still have the computer) all of my music files in a folder
named itunes music. In the itunes music folder was also itunes
library and itunes music library.

The new computer is partitioned like the old one and the music files
and itunes library files are like the old one also.

When I look at itunes edit..preferences..advanced..general both old
and new indicate F:\itunes music as the itunes music folder location.

The problem is that itunes apparently doesn't see my library or
music. There is no music in itunes. In fact, there are neary 10k
songs.

Can anyone offer any suggestions for how I should proceede to get
things back in sinc. I sure will appreciate any help.

Thanks, Mann
