Hello Tim,
Yes, you can listen to the radio on your iPod. I can recommend two
accessories for this: the BluEye from Gear4 ( www.gear4.com ) which
combines a remote control, FM radio tuner and Bluetooth interface to
enable you to use a Bluetooth mobile phone through your iPod headset;
and the Apple Radio Remote, which is like the BluEye but without the
Bluetooth function. Both are about the size, shape and appearance of
an iPod Shuffle. The Apple Radio Remote has a better clip for
attaching to clothing, but the BluEye does more, as of course it also
includes a mic to speak via your mobile phone too. The BluEye cable is
quite fragile though, so you have to be careful with it.
However, there are thousands of accessories available for iPods now—
every Apple trade fair probably has more of them than anything for
Macs these days.
