Re: [Apple iPod] Moving iTunes

Hey there..

you can move the itunes folder to the additional hard drive.
Then, in the itunes preferences, change the default location to the
new drive.
The next step - to get all your files in the same location... have the
other drive with the my music folder plugged into the pc, you need to
consolidate the library - this could take a while - depending on how
many files you have here, there and everywhere... it will copy all the
stray songs into the default location (now the new external drive.)
{hopefully you will have ticked - "keep my library organised" - if not
you can change this in the settings somewhere..}
After you move the iTunes Music folder, Just make sure that before you
open itunes, you have the external drive plugged in first - otherwise,
if you add any music, it will put it on the computers hard drive in a
new itunes music folder.

Hope this helps and is not too confusing for you.
Nikki
