you can move the itunes folder to the additional hard drive.
Then, in the itunes preferences, change the default location to the
new drive.
The next step - to get all your files in the same location... have the
other drive with the my music folder plugged into the pc, you need to
consolidate the library - this could take a while - depending on how
many files you have here, there and everywhere... it will copy all the
stray songs into the default location (now the new external drive.)
{hopefully you will have ticked - "keep my library organised" - if not
you can change this in the settings somewhere..}
After you move the iTunes Music folder, Just make sure that before you
open itunes, you have the external drive plugged in first - otherwise,
if you add any music, it will put it on the computers hard drive in a
new itunes music folder.
