I've looked at the 605 Wifi, and the reviews and stuff on the web seem to be pretty good. I saw a model in Circuit City but it was powerless so I couldn't really test it much, but of course it wasn't nearly as small as the iTouch. I would still consider it, but the one showstopper for me was it's inability to play Audible files, and I have about 100 Audible books I have yet to read (along with several hundred others I have read already). It seems Archos doesn't make any Audible-compatible devices and that's really too bad, as they are really the major player when it comes to downloadable audio books...

Its price is an iOuch though, so don't worry about it. That price
drove me off the top of the fence where I had been sitting for more
than a year since my old 60GB Video iPod got "lost" and over on the
other side (Archos 605 WiFi).
