[Apple iPod] no sound on converted music video

Hi

I added a quick time music video to itunes and then converted it to go
on an ipod or iphone. The clip plays but with no sound. Can anyone
help me work out what I can do to get the sound. When I play the clip
in itunes there is no sound either.
