[Apple iPod] Ipod touch email problem

Hello All,

I paid the 20 dollar ransom to Apple for the touch upgrade hoping
that I could finally put my palm lifedrive in the drawer for good.
However, there is one small problem that I can not work around. With
my palm lifedrive I can pop my email in one big package to
read "offline" at my leasure. With the Itouch, I can download all the
emails but just the first part of each email comes in. So when I go to
read them offline, the Itouch tries to connect to the internet to
get "the rest" of the current message that I am reading.

I had the same problem with the palm lifdrive, but was able to
change the default download size per email to say 5megs and then I
would get All of each email when I popped the email client.

What I am wondering is if there is a way to increase the size of
each email download to the Itouch so that I can get all of each email
